My last holiday was my longest holiday. I spend the holiday with my husband. It was a honeymoon trip

We selected Đà Nẵng for our honeymoon where is famous with beautiful beach. We stayed there for four days and we lived in a big hotel by the beach. The weather was very nice. In the morning, we went to the beach to watch the sunrise. Then we swam in the clear blue water and played with gentle waves. In the afternoon, we rode around the road along the coastline by bicycles. I also enjoyed some seafood and took a lot of photos. In the evening, we went café and saw the Han River bridge. In the middle of the night, it swings to allow shipping traffic to pass along the river. It’s surprised with me because it’s first time I has seen a swing bridge

After those days, we came back to Hanoi. The holiday had a strong impression on me and I really had many memories with my honeymoon.

The person who I admire most in my family, is my mother. I love her very much and admire her most in my family.

My mother is 51 years old. She is not very beautiful, but there is something attractive about her.

Her face is oval with big brown eyes and red lips, which are always smiling. She has long black hair, a slim build and a fair complexion. Her character is admirable. She is very sweet and kind to her husband and children. She never gets angry with anyone. As a simple person, she does not like wearing expensive clothes and jewels. She is very busy with the housework from early morning until late at night.

I love my mother very much. I miss her a lot when I am away from her for a long time. When I am free, I help my mother with the washing, cooking and errands. I always obey and respect my mother and try to study hard to please her.I wish she would live with me forever. I think I am a happy person because I have such a great mother.

My most favorite game is basketball. The reason is because it’s challenging and it needs a lot of teamwork to win a game.

I have played basketball when I was a student. I don’t play well but I find that play this game is very challenging because it’s not easy to be able to dribble a basketball. In addition, you want to play well, you must have a good aim and it takes many days of practice.

Besides, teamwork is very important in a basketball game because it is very difficult to win alone. When playing basketball, I have to pay a lot of attention on what my teammates are doing because they could suddenly pass the ball to me. I would like to play it more often; however most of my friend are always busy.

Basketball is very good for health so I’m very like to play basketball

My present job is an owner of a book shop at tran cung street. My job is to sell books and manage the shop. Here i have a very friendly and enthusiastic colleague. If there is an opportunity to change the job, i will still choose to be the owner of book shop. Because i have a lot of free time, read many kind of books and i am not under management of anyone. With such free time, i can spend time on taking care of my family. Reading many books helps me to get a lot of plentiful knowledge. When i am the owner of the shop, i can do whatever i want and i am not managed by anyone.

Actually, I don't have much free time in my life since I’m an employer and a student at the same time. But if have some free time I usually love entertaining my self by either watching movies, listening to music or going on a trip.

I love watching television on my free time, but what I love more is watching movies. In fact, I like almost all kinds of movies such as romance, comedy, classic except horror movies because this kind of movie makes me nervous and tense.

In addition, I enjoy listening to music it makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. I don't prefer a particular kind of music, it depends on the singers. Sometimes, I enjoy listening to rock music and sometimes classic music, it depends on my mood.

Finally, what I like to do in my spare time is going on a trip. There are many places in my country which I don’t know because I want to visit and discover it.

In conclusion, I miss having free time because I'm always busy and have many duties to do. Therefore, whenever I have some free time I will do with these activities.

TOPIC 6: TALK ABOUT ONE MEANS OF TRANSPORT THAT YOU OFTEN USE.

I go to univerisyt and go to work by motorbike every day. Going by motorbike is more active than going by bus. I can keep my motorbike in my house instead of hiring a place for car parking and cost for motorbike is cheaper than cost for car. When using motorbike for traveling, I can start at any time and I feel it comfortable and convenient. However, the most difficult of using motorbile is that it is for going a near place and two people go a motorbike only.

In future, I will still use motorbike as often as I do at present because it is the only mean of transport that I use every day and it is suitable to my payment capacity/pocket.

TOPIC 7: DESCRIBE A MEMORABLE JOURNEY YOU HAVE MADE.

Last weekend, I and my friend paid a visit to Khoang Xanh resort by bike, one of the most famous resorts in my country - Ha Tay. Khoang Xanh is a place of romantic and wild beauty.

My journey start 6 am and it’s about 2 hours from Hanoi. Our first impression of Khoang Xanh resort was that there were many rocks, trees, waterfalls, many kinds of fishes, mountains and so on. It is a interest place because we can climb King mountain to discover primitive forest and go sightseeing. In addition, it have many large swimming-pools, especially, a wave – created lake and water park with many attractive games that made us not want to leave. It was really a memorable journey that I have made.

TOPIC 8: DESCRIBE A SPECIAL OCCASION WHEN YOU HAD A REALLY ENJOYABLE MEAL.

I can remember having a really enjoyable meal on my birthday. It was on Christmas Day and my whole family was there including my parents, my brother. Everybody prepared a small party for me. We ate turkey, chicken as well as many vegetables such potatoes, carrots and peas. My mother makes the best gravy so we put that on everything. For dessert we had fruits such as apple, mango, banana. We also had the most delicious birthday cake that was made by my mother. I remember it being most enjoyable because the food was so delicious. Not only was the food good but also everyone talked and there was so much laughter that sometimes we had tears coming out of our eyes and our stomachs hurt. It was a really great day with terrific food.

TOPIC 9: DESCRIBE A TRANSPORT PROBLEM IN YOU TOWN/CITY

In my city, I think one of the biggest transport problem is the poor bus service, especially during rush hours.

I think the reason why the service is so poor is that like everywhere. We have a lot of traffic jams, so the buses don’t come on time. And they are really overcrowed and discomfort for passengers when they do come. These rush hours are normally from 7 to 9 am and from 5 to 7 pm when employees are travelling to and from work. I depend on the buses, so I’m still usually late. In addition, in rush hours, everyone is be hustled in the crowd so passengers is stole. And I had stole my watch when I was on bus.

To solve these problems, I know it’s not easy. But, I think we need to invest more in the buses, buy bigger and cleaner vehicles, and we could have extra buses in the rush hour.
